Okay, this is three years too late. Or is it? It happened three years ago, but is relevant to today. The purpose is not to rip some prelates for failure, but to examine the failure so Catholic men can improve upon it in the future.
OCTOBER 2019
October 4, 2019 began the Amazon Synod with the witchery in the Vatican garden.
October 8, 2019, Church Militant reported that St. Maria in Traspontina was decked in Pachamama idols, bestiality posters, and framed pics of Marxist revolutionaries.
October 17, 2019, Aux Bishop Athanasius Schneider hosts a book signing for his (then) new book. Cdls Burke, Sarah, and Muller were in attendance, as well as Michael Matt and others.
Michael Matt on the event:
People often complain that we need to "do something" about what’s happening in Rome. Well, here it is!
…
If this isn't "doing something", well I guess I'm not sure what "doing something" means anymore?
Enter Tschugguel:
Four days later, on October 21, 2019, Alexander Tschugguel, a Catholic pro-life activist from Austria, entered St. Maria in Traspontina, removed the idols, and threw them into the Tiber.
That’s what it means to “do something.”
Held at the Palazzo Cardinal Cesi.
Gently downhill.
You can see St. Maria in Traspontina from the front door of the Palazzo Cardinal Cesi.
That’s how close the highest ranking and most revered churchmen were to the blasphemy which they knew to be occurring at that very moment, and they did nothing.
They could have done what young Tschugguel did four days later, namely, stormed the church and cleared out the blasphemous images and idols. “Shake things up,” you know.
The name of the book featured at the book signing?
Christus Vincit: Christ’s Triumph Over the Darkness of the Age.
Ironical. “Paging Edmund Burke. You are needed at the front desk.”
Little has changed in 3+ years. More book signings. More Pontifical High Masses. More speeches. Tweets.
You can tell the effectiveness of your firepower by the reaction of your enemy. He does not respond to tweets, book signings, speeches, and Pontifical High Masses, because they have little effect on him. They make people feel like they’re doing something, but in reality they achieve nothing, and may even be harmful in that they present the illusion of doing something, while doing nothing. Saying, “we must act” isn’t enough. You have to move the needle. Tschugguel moved the needle.
On one hand, it would have been good for Tschugguel to have smashed and burned the idols, thus they would have been destroyed. It seems thought that recovering the idols presented a chance for teh Francis to have second thoughts and repent. He did not, and instead doubled down on his blasphemic idolatry.
Do you also remember in 2018 the morning after Cdl. Becciu (now affectionately referred to as “Cdl. Dead Man Walking”) was made head of the Knights of Malta, and all of Rome awakened to find posters plastered across town demanding of teh Francis, “Where’s Your Mercy?”
FUTURE ACTION
Go to St. Peter’s Square with a bullhorn during Angelus and demand this Pachamama Antipapa publicly repent of his sins including that of apostasy, idol worship, heresy, blasphemy, sacrilege, child abuse, and murder.
Lay people, if and when they bring Pachamama to your parish, like they did at many parishes in Italy*, you take the idol, poster, photo, remove it from the church, smash it to bits, burn it, dump the ashes in the river. Commit now so you don’t have to debate it in the moment.
Meme warfare. Mockery. Humor applied against the stupid choices of men. It’s a form of psychological warfare, and as necessary as any other form, if not more so. Think Elijah against the pagan sorcerers in the showdown of the century. The wicked ones have no humor because their twisted little hearts are tied up in knots, it comes out as spite.
That is what real, effective action looks like. Action is contagious. So is cowardice. Make sure you live the rest of your life saying, “it was worth it”, rather than “I wish I had.”
